Anti-Corruption Body Warns Vagharshapat Election Participants

The Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia informs that it is conducting daily monitoring of the entire process of the upcoming proportional elections for the Council of Elders in the Vagharshapat community of Armavir marz. This is stated in a message released by the Committee.

"The Committee warns that it will be consistent and uncompromising in upholding the electoral legislation. Specifically, any violation of the ban on charity by any person or structure during the election campaign, as well as attempts to give election bribes or influence the will of the voter by other illegal means, will receive a legal assessment with the full severity of the law. The Anti-Corruption Committee of the RA calls on everyone to refrain from such illegal actions and to immediately report any violation to law enforcement agencies," the message states.
